Welcome to Sun City Grand in the lovely city of Surprise, Arizona. Yes! You heard it right – Surprise! Sun City Grand is a Del Webb active adult community for those who are 45 or better. The community is located about eighteen miles northwest of Phoenix.  Right outside of Sun City Grand is more shopping than you can shake a stick at! It is nestled in the Northwest Valley surrounded by beautiful mountain views. 

 

Living in Sun City Grand is truly like living in a first class resort.  Beside the fully equipped first class fitness centers we have five swimming pools, water aerobics and regular aerobics classes.   

We have four championship golf courses that were designed by famed golfers Greg Nash and Billy Casper.  From swimming to tennis to golf, there’s almost nothing you can think of that Sun City Grand doesn’t have! There are activities, clubs, and events to suit nearly anyone. We have a first class wood shop and a beautiful softball field that entertains lots of league play. Here are just a few of the activities one can enjoy here;

 

Stitching, ceramics, hiking, Bocce Ball, Pickle Ball, stained glass, card playing, computer, travel, dancing, books, drama and practically anything one can think of.

 

I moved to Sun City Grand in 2002. After retiring in 2004 after thirty-five years as a Systems Engineer in Mainframe Computing I decided to go into the Real Estate business specializing in homes in Sun City Grand, Sun City West and the surrounding communities. Helping buyers from around the country find the home of their dreams in Sun City Grand is a labor of love to me.

 

Of course we do have a world here outside of Sun City Grand and I’ll be glad to tell you about those homes, too. Right across the highway is Sun City West . “West”, as we like to call it, is also an adult community for folks that are over 55. It also boasts several golf courses (7), and is very popular with folks from the cold weather states of the Midwest, Northwest and Northeast.

 

Just to the south of us are the master planned family communities of Surprise, a great place for younger folks to acquire large, affordable homes in a safe community with good schools.  Surprise is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. and is destined to be the Mecca of our Valley of the Sun.  Planned here in the near future is the largest shopping mall and master planned community in Arizona. It will be called Prasada.

Upon completion, Surprise is certain to become a destination community, not a bedroom community.
